I think it would probably be more fun to play a game that your computer can handle than one where your low specs affect your in-game performance. If you're playing on a laptop though then you're kinda stuck with what you got.

Modern games require at least i5 8 GB and 4 GB GPU or more. With Black Friday sales, you might be able to get something really good for cheap. A dedicated GPU will boost your performance a lot and you could probably buy a 2gb GPU for 60 bucks. You don't really need an i5 and 8gb to play Dota 2. If you haven't then pretty much turn off EVERYTHING. I'm assuming you've adjusted the in-game graphic and advanced video settings? If you've already done that, then I don't think there's a lot more you can do. If you want to play super cool awesome video games then get a dedicated GPU with *at least* 2gb of dedicated memory, 4gb recommended. It's made to display pixels on a computer screen. So before you accuse people of "belittling" then you should know what you're talking about. Intel HD 3000 has ZERO dedicated memory, which means it's also sapping your system memory to function, further degrading your system performance. The system requirements on the actual store page state "nVidia GeForce 8600/9600GT, ATI/AMD Radeon HD2600/3600" and a minimum of 4gb of ram.Īn onboard GPU does not meet those requirements hence you're going to have a subpar experience playing the game. Help him out rather than belittleing(sic)ĭota 2, a game developed by a company that makes billions of dollars a year and spends millions of dollars promoting it isn't AAA?
